Viva Carnival! ;)

Carnival is my favourite time during the year :) people sing, dance and enjoy themselves...





In Poland we celebrate Carnival too. It looks like in other countries... Women wear lovely dresses and men wear ellegant siuts :) Sometimes people dress up funny costumes and go on parties. Most often people in Poland celebrate Carnival in small groups. They meet in club or somebody's house and play on their own way :)
I celebrate this time with my friends :* we have a lot of fun together because we love parties like these in Carnival ;D

Christmas! :)

Christmas is the most beautiful holiday throughout the year! In Poland we celebrate Christmas Eve on the 24th December. I spend Christmas with my close family. Before this special day me and my brothers decorate our room with candles, mistletoe and we dress the Christmas tree. I always buy some presents for my parents, brothers and friends. And I get a lot of presents from them ;) although I believe in Santa Claus ;) During the Christmas Eve we sing carols and eat Christmas dinner. On Christmas Eve I go to church for midnight mass. On Christmas Day I meet my friends and I spend with them New Year’s Eve :) we sing, dance and celebrate New Year!

A trip of my dreams...

I want to go to Paris very much.
Paris is the capital and the biggest city in France.
The city has got a very interesting layout.
Seine divides the town into two parts: the northern,
Rive Droite and southern, Rive Gauche.
Paris is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
It’s adored for a unique atmosphere and countless pleasures.

You can’t get bored in Paris. There are many monuments,
museums, theatres, elegant department stores
and luxurious boutiques.
I want to visit famous d'Orsey and Louvre most.
I dream of a boat-trip across Seine and walk
in the Gardens of Versailles :)

Recipe :))

Spaghetti Bolognese :P

Components:
*50 dag of pasta
*50 dag of mince meat
*1 can of tomato puree
*1 big onion
*3 spoons of olive oil
*2 spoons of flour
*Cayenne
*Pepper
*Salt
*Herbs
*Green parsley

Recipe:
Put mince meat with cayenne, pepper and salt on hot oil and fry it for some time. Next cut onion and add it to meat. When onion gets red color, add tomato puree and a glass of cold water. Whole cook for 15 minutes.
Mix flour with a glass of water and put it to boiling meal. After some time add green parsley and herbs :)
Boil a pasta, put it on plates and use hot sauce to top.

Halloween is celebrated on 31 October.

*ghosts and spirits visit the living world on Halloween night*

There are many Halloween customs.

On the night of Halloween, a lot of people cut faces in pumpkins and put a candle inside. In the USA, these special lamps are called Jack O'Lanterns. The story of Jack O'Lantern is about man who dies but connot find heaven. He has walk through the nigth with only a candle in a pumpkin to show him the way.

On Halloween night children go from door to door and say: "Trick or treat??"

Some old tradition says, when on Halloween we wear ghost and witch costumes, we help the spirits come back to their world at the end of the night.
Telling scary stories and having parties on Halloween night is also a tradicion.

Murzasichle ;]

Murzasichle is a small village near Zakopane in Polish mountains. 
I was there from 19th to 22nd May 2008. This trip was wonedrful. I met lots of interesting and crazy people there. The weather was terrible but atmosphere was wery nice and friendly. I'd like to go and see this place once again. I'm pining for Murzasichle and my new friends ;*
